Transport of Tupolev TU-154 aircraft – Slovakia

We prepared and carried out an extremely demanding transport of the Tupolev TU-154M aircraft, known as the former “Slovak presidential special”.

We carefully placed the aircraft on a Faymonville modular low-bed trailer and completely secured it for road transport. The set had a total length of approximately 50 meters, which placed high demands on preparation, axle placement and overall stability of the load.

After completing the preparations, we began the transport itself from Bratislava. The set then continued through Slovakia towards Nitra and on to the final destination. Given the dimensions and nature of the load, detailed route planning, coordination of the set’s movement and continuous management of the entire transport in real operation were necessary.

Thanks to the long-term preparation and experience of our team, the entire operation went without complications and the aircraft was successfully transported to Liptovský Mikuláš, where it became part of the exhibition and entertainment area being prepared. The total transport route reached almost 300 kilometers.

The project was one of the technically and logistically very demanding oversized transports, where the precision, coordination and experience of the entire implementation team were key.
